Project4 Theme Flasher/Manager

Project4 Theme Flasher/Manager - Image 1 Xsjado7 informed us earlier that work has been completed on what seems to be the first theme flasher application for Auraomega‘s Project4 XMB replacement. The application handles very much like a standard XMB flasher app, and is current capable of handling up to three themes at the same time. Details are available in the full article.

It looks like the PSP coding community’s beginning to catch on to Auraomega‘s Project4 XMB replacement. Developer Xsjado7 dropped us a line earlier to say that work has been completed the Project4 Theme Flasher/Manager.

As its name implies, this homebrew application will enable users to manage, backup and flash themes for Project4. Xsjado7 states that the application’s been built to be as basic as possible to facilitate for easy use, and is currently capable of handling three themes at the same time.

We advise any would- be users to be careful with this release, as it still contains some bugs (quoting the readme):

  • Sometimes, when moving through the menu, two backgrounds will kinda
  • mesh together when you scroll
  • quickly
  • Background rectangle wont turn off USB or Exit is selected
  • When you turn off the background rectangle and scroll to either USB or Exit, the text will get messed up

Those interested in reading the Project4 theme manager’s full installation and usage instructions will want to view the file bundle’s readme. You may also want to visit Xsjado7’s release thread over at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forums to report any problems or to provide your feedback.
