Prototype reveals 12 new screenshots for Clannad PSP
Visual novels have a way of drawing you into another world with a combination of beautiful visuals and a compelling story. Clannad is no different. With the title coming to the Sony PSP, both Key and Prototype present twelve screenshots featuring the various female protagonists of the game. Feel free to take a look at them after the jump.
Nagisa, Kyou, Kotomi, Tomoyo and Fuko. If these names sound familiar to you, then you’re probably a fan of Key’s visual novel, Clannad. Ever since a PSP version of the game was announced, we’ve been following the news on Prototype’s development of this classic title.
As you can see from the pictures posted here, the artwork of the PSP version of Clannad seems to capture the essence of Key’s original PC visual novel. Our heroines are shown wearing a variety of facial expressions – from embarrassment to surprise to delight – in what appears to be the School Life story arc.
If Clannad can look this good on the PSP, perhaps Key and Prototype can also bring the semi-sequel Tomoyo After: It’s a Wonderful Life over to Sony‘s handheld console. Wishful thinking, perhaps, but it wouldn’t hurt to hope, now would it?
