PS3’s The Orange Box gets 1.10 patch

The game’s fans who are enjoying it on the Sony PlayStation 3 have been itching for fixes that will curb issues marring a very good release. Heavy Weapons Guy - Image 1European gamers currently playing The Orange Box have long complained about a myriad of issues plaguing the Sony PlayStation 3 version of the game. Publisher Electronic Arts has heard enough whines and moans, forcing its hand to clean up its act.

A 128MB update has been released to bring The Orange Box to version 1.10 this week. Unfortunately, there’s no changelog accompanying the update to guide us on what improvements have supposedly been made.

The Orange Box for the PS3 is a well-rated game in a lot of reviews, but frame rate issues have somewhat marred the 2007 standout. Problems like friends not appearing in lists and accounts not registering on the EA server have also been cited by players.
