Eelim has released a nifty new application for PSP users. It’s a multi-user dungeon (MUD) client for your PSP, called PSPMud v0.1.1. For those who don’t know what a MUD is, it’s a multiplayer computer game that essentially mixes chat rooms, RPGs, and dungeon simulations onto a text-based interface.

Here are some notes direct from the author himself:

Use D-Pad for basic movement (North, East, South and West)

Square = Enter Key (needed for scrolling pages)

Circle = OSK for entering your commands

You can connect to servers either by manually entering their address, or by entering them into the provided servers.txt, so you only have to choose them at program startup.

The only thing really missing from this application is a faster way to input text, but if you want to access a MUD and just watch people interact, then you can do so easily with this app. Enjoy!
