Red Steel: New screens & character art

Red Steel

With Wii’s launch drawing near along with Wii-exclusive title Red Steel, new screens and character art from Ubisoft‘s action title has been released to give every one a better grasp of what to expect from the game and in turn the console itself.

In Red Steel, the protagonist tries to rescue his girlfriend from a brutal gang of Yakuza. You will become a modern-day samurai, using guns as well as swords to fight the Japanese underworld. Mental powers aid your task, enabling you to freeze time so you can target multiple enemies simultaneously. Red Steel of course fully supports the Wii’s controller, promising to make sword- and gunfights even more fun than on a regular joypad.
