Registration now open for XBL System Update Preview program
Major Nelson announced over at his blog that they are doing an Xbox 360 System Update Preview program for the next release. If you would like to partake in this activity, you’d want to sign up now. Details and instructions follow after the jump.
Major Nelson announced over at his blog that they are doing an Xbox 360 System Update Preview program for the next release. If you would like to partake in this activity, you’d want to sign up now.
Procedures are similar to last year’s sign up, if you tried it out. Just visit the Microsoft Connect site and then sign in with your Windows Live ID, which should be connected to your XBL Gamertag.
After that, you’d want to fill out the survey form titled, “Xbox Live Update Preview Sign Up” to be made eligible, or at least to be considered to receive the Preview System Update. Be prepared to answer oober tough, long equatorial questions such as: where do you live?, what is your ISP connection?, and “a few other pieces of information.”
Don’t worry about not getting in cos Major says they’re looking for “multiple thousands of participants.” Here, see for yourself what he had to say:

- This opportunity is open to all Xbox LIVE Members in regions where Xbox LIVE is available.
- Just completing the survey does not automatically get you access to the Preview Program. WeÂ’ll be making final selections from the completed surveys and send you an email if you are selected.
- While both Xbox LIVE Gold and Silver members can sign up, Priority will be given to Gold members in the selection process.
