Resident Evil 5 website relaunched

The official website of Resident Evil 5 has given us quite a run-around in the past – mysterious countdowns and whatnot. Now, that very same RE5 website has been overhauled.

Capcom relaunched their official site for RE5 and has given it new, err, life (…or un-life? We’re not really dealing with undead zombies now, are we?). The site allows you to move your mouse cursor left or right to scan around the Kijuju village, but from what I’ve seen, nothing in it is clickable. See if you can find Easter eggs!

Hovering you mouse on the bottom-center brings up the “5” symbol – clicking that brings you to the menu where you can check out some RE5 trailers and screens. Some sections are still closed off though, so you might want to keep checking back for updates.

Capcom’s Resident Evil 5 will be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 come March 13, 2009.
