CodeMasters has put out a nice tidbit of information for all those that are looking for alternative ways to pay for your subscription. The RF Online billing system was upgraded friday, and was promptly put to the test with the European launch. Apparently the system worked great, and was able to handle the massive amount of traffic that accompanies the launch of such a highly anticipated MMORPG.

While this was going on, the crew over at CodeMasters have also been busy securing alternative payment methods for those that are unable, unwilling, or just plain don’t trust PayPal or using a credit card. They haven’t announced what methods they are working on making available yet, but they have stated that they will announce these new payment methods soon.
