Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa SOTW: Eloh Artifacts

Tabula Rasa - Image 1Another sculpture takes center stage in this Screenshot of the Week update of Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa. The Eloh race has left quite a lot of their culture behind, and in this screenshot captured by AFS Soldier Dreadla Kilark, we see that it’s a culture built around making weird, eerily-beautiful but also disturbing sculptures. The details in the full article.

Eloh Artifact - Image 1

Screenshot of the Week time! If you’re one of the many players in the world of Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa from NCsoft, you should know by now that this is the update that shows off some of the game’s more epic sights, captured forever in frozen time by the standard-issue AFS Print Screen button. And this one is a bit weirder than most, with the subject being an ancient Eloh Artifact found by AFS soldier Dreadla Kildark.

While we’ve seen our share of video game artifacts, it’s clear that the ones in Tabula Rasa are a bit more realistic-looking than most. The texture of the rock it was carved from looks pretty convincing, and the sculpture a bit too lifelike.

Too lifelike, in fact, that we here at QJ.NET hope and pray that the artifact itself did not come to life and attacked Dreadla Kildark moments after she had snapped this particular image. Because that would be terrifying, and cause us to treat every other sculpture we come across with fear and menace. Updates as we get them.
