Rumor confirmed: Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles to have co-op mode

It wasn’t so long ago when we got word that Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii might get co-op mode. This rumor spread like wildfire among fans of the series, so a lot of players have been patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for confirmation on this.

Well, the word is in, and it has been confirmed that the game will be getting co-op play. This new fact was uncovered in the latest release of Famitsu. No word on whether this will be an online feature or split screen co-op, of course like most gamers out there, we’re hoping for both.

It was previously announced that the game will allow players to play through some of the older scenarios and environments in previous games, which would be really cool coupled with the co-op mode and Wiimote controls.
