Rumor: Metroid Prime 3 Corruption up for dibs today

Metroid Prime 3 - Image 1Rumor time! Word on the street is that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Nintendo Wii is OFFICIALLY up for reserves today, at the nearest GameStop and EB Games branches near you.

The rumor itself comes from Go Nintendo, the author having received two separate emails from readers Kutage and Ratherbeinjapan (both employees at Gamestop and EB Games respectively) saying that they’ve received corporate bigwig notification of the Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (as well as Mario Strikers: Charged) reserve lists being opened today. Sweet!

Now, before you get into the reserving frenzy (we’re restraining ourselves too, mind you), we’d like to stress once again that these are all still rumors, as there’s no official word coming from Nintendo or Gamestop/EB games just yet. It pays to be wary, though, so just watch this space as updates develop.
