Rumor: Sony to hold Sony Gamers Day next month, invite-only event?

Here’s something that would perk up people hungry for gaming news: according to a Xtreme PS3 source, Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe (SCEE) is planning to hold a Sony Gamers Day in London on May 6. Gamers, prop up your rumor radar and check out this one: according to xtremeps3’s unnamed source, Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe (SCEE) will be holding Sony Gamers Day 2008 in London. But don’t pack your bags and plan your course yet! Apparently, the event that will take place on May 6 is an invite-only media affair.

“[The event] is strictly press and developers, and press badges are being sent out,” said the source. And since you can’t crash the event, we’re sure that you have some questions that you don’t want to go unanswered, concerning Sony’s PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 consoles and their games.
