Sightings of Tekken 6 for the Sony PlayStation 3 may be few and far between but fans are still hotly anticipating the first next-gen installment of Namco’s flagship fighting franchise. NeoGAF user neo46 was nice enough to post the latest scans from Japanese magazine Famitsu and the game looks pretty good.

Probably the most eye-catching among the screenshots in the scan is the bullfighter who seems to be a new character. Of course we still don’t have any idea on how he plays, so seeing him in action is something to look forward to. Sorry, but we can’t read Japanese and tell you guys what these pages say.

What we do know at this point is that the developers have overhauled the characters and everyone will have “item moves” to add to their arsenal. Details are still blurry on the final release date of Tekken 6, but for true fans of the series, the wait should be worth it. Tekken has been known to set trends in the genre and it looks like the latest iteration is looking to carry that tradition to the next level of gaming.
