Screenshots of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

    

We have here a handful of screenshots of Square Enix‘s Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, one of the three Kingdom Hearts prequels slated for the handheld consoles (including mobile phones).

We previously reported about the translated transcripts of the Kingdom Hearts trailers shown in TGS, but were not able to provide visuals of the trailer. Well, with these screenshots we now have a better idea of who we can expect to see in the game.

Judging by these Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep screens, PSP gamers will now be able to control a decidedly older character in the world of Kingdom Hearts, compared to the previous playable characters Sora and Roxas. The “Enigmatic Soldier’s” name is Terra, whose origins and identity are unknown at this point.

We have also mentioned in the trailer transcripts about the appearance of Ven, a boy who looks like Roxas, and an old man named Xehanort. These screenshots now show you how they look like, but their appearance only serves to thicken the plot: Ven looks almost exactly like Roxas, down to his wrist band. And what about old Xehanort? Could this be a time paradox?
