Lately, the talk of the town has been the merger between industry giants Activision and Vivendi Games. Financial reports aside, we imagine this latest move leaves many a gamer wondering about the future of each of these companies’ franchises.
On that note, we’re reporting that Activision Blizzard has recently sent out a financial fact sheet which, aside from discussing the partnership’s transaction details, also announces several titles already in the pipeline. Pipeline, or wet dream, depending on which game you’re a big fan of. Here’s the list:
- Call of Duty 5
- Guitar Hero IV
- James Bond
- new DreamWorks titles
- new Marvel titles
- new racing entry by Bizarre
And in case you’re wondering, no – there was no mention of any World of Warcraft sequels. On a personal note, this blogger is definitely looking forward to Call of Duty 5. Activision will be hard-pressed to top Modern Warfare‘s success on the PS3,Xbox 360, and PC, though.
