Sonic The Hedgehog: Lacey Chabert joins cast as Princess Elise

Lacey Chabert, who grew up before our eyes (and how!) from the cute tyke in “Party of Five” to the semi-smoking babe in “Lost in Space” to the full-pledged smoking babe in “Mean Girls,” has been tapped to be the voice of Princess Elise.

In Sonic the Hedgehog (to be released on the PS3 and the Xbox 360 platforms), Elise is the beloved princess Soleanna, the City of Water. She is also the protector of a dark secret known as the ‘Flames of Disaster’.

Lacey, who is a self-proclaimed Sonic game fan since she was nine, says she couldn’t be happier to make her video game debut in Sonic The Hedgehog. “I am so excited to be part of his 15-year legacy!” Guess what Lacey, so are we.
