Sony officially announces the launch of MLB 07 The Show for the PS3

Sony Computer Entertainment announced the launching of Major League Baseball 07 The Show just recently. According to the official press release, MLB 07 The Show is now available for the PS3.

Fans of the franchise expect Sony has delivered its full promise of pure baseball simulation and power for this title.

MLB 07 The Show is the only first-party developed game officially licensed by Major League Baseball Properties, Major League Baseball Advanced Media, and Major League Baseball Players Association. Sony boasts that the title features unparalleled simulation with broadcast level quality.

The game also comes with more online and gameplay features, including an MLB Score Ticker, in-game Buddy Invites and Online League Play for the definitive online PlayStation 3 player. Multiplayer competition will allow players to set up leagues with up to 30 teams, while tracking statistics, and providing point benefits and full customization.
