Mac gamers now have something more to celebrate as Valve officially announced the launch date of Steam on Mac.

 

 

 

 

 

They did not divulge any more details other than the usual “stay tuned for more information”, but the most important bit is that the date has been set. And it’s quite sooner than we all would have expected, actually.

 

May 12, 2010, Wednesday, should be the date you’d want to mark on your calendars. I say “sooner than expected” because this was just confirmed last month.

 

As mentioned earlier though, that’s all they had to say on the matter for now, so we still don’t know what games will be made available for Mac.

 

 

 

But hey, at least now we can rest easy on this one. Happy Steam-ing, you Mac-ers!
