Takahashi Meijin to guest in upcoming Japanese WiiWare event

Takahashi Meijin - Image 1We can’t wait for the new WiiWare games like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King, Bomberman, and the much-awaited Star Soldier R to hit the Nintendo Wii. Of course, we’ll need some demos for us to know how well the games are turning out, and none other than button-mashing Takahashi Meijin is tasked to demo some WiiWare games in an upcoming event in Japan. More details in the full article!

Are you familiar with the name Takahashi Meijin, the man behind the beloved classic Adventure Island? He’s going to the upcoming WiiWare event in Japan to demonstrate the new games that will be featured in Nintendo’s gaming service: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King, Dr. Mario & Bacillus Extermination, and the much-awaited Star Soldier R.

So what’s the big deal if Takahashi gets to demo the new games? We’re talking about the man who can tap buttons 16 times per second, that’s what. His sheer button-mashing prowess has enabled him to gain exceptional skills in classic shooter Star Soldier, and that’s quite a feat in itself.

Interested in meeting this gaming meister? You can always opt to attend the WiiWare event hosted by the KDDI Design Studio on April 1 to 2 in Harajuku. The good news? The event is free for all. The bad news? The plane tickets to Japan probably aren’t.
