TGS 2008: Phantasy Star Portable to support Ad-hoc Party, lobby screenshots

Following Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, Sega‘s Phantasy Star Portable will lead off the next wave of games to support Sony‘s new Ad-hoc Party service.
That’s what the company revealed during a recent announcement for the service, which will let PSP owners take select ad-hoc-only PSP games online by using the PlayStation 3 console as a proxy. No word yet on a release for the game outside Japan, though.
Along with the announcement, Sony also released a few screenshots of the service’s lobby program for the PS3. Check ’em out below courtesy of IGN. Sony’s Ad-hoc Party service will launch in Japan on October 30.
