The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi: First the PSP and PS2, tomorrow the Wii
The last time we heard about the anime series with the massive cult following, The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, we found out that she’s making the jump from the TV screen to the PlayStation Portable screen.
Now, it seems that the charismatic schoolgirl with the power to create anything out of nothing has set her sights on the Nintendo Wii courtesy of Kadakowa Shonen and Namco Bandai. The former was the publisher of the anime series.
Again, there’s not much info on what the game’s actually going to be like, or if it’s actually going to be canon. However, the wild card here is that the Wii has motion-sensing capabilities so there just MIGHT be room for the assumption that it’s going to have that sort of gameplay.
There is still no word, lastly, if this title will be released outside Japan. Any fans of Suzumiya Haruhi here?
