The Sims 2: Pets coming soon on the Wii?

Too bad for you non-Sims fans (heathens!), this author can’t help but gush every time The Sims is being mentioned. We heard another exciting news from a source about The Sims. Apparently, The Sims 2: Pets is being developed for the Wii!

Last year, The Sims 2: Pets was released for the Nintendo Gamecube and other platforms. The game didn’t do so well on the Cube, and it isn’t surprising that The Sims developer Electronic Arts would bring the game over to Nintendo’s next-gen. Only recently we brought you details of the new Sims title, My Sims, coming to the Wii and the DS. My Sims is more of a simulation/RPG but The Sims 2: Pets will have pets in it!

We remember our Pet Sims moments. It’s fun, but will the gameplay ever improve on the Wii? We can imagine using the Wiimote to throw the Frisbee to the dog, even to fill-in the holes that Fluffy dug up in the yard. And just a last question: will Hilary Duff and Lola still be there?
