Toy SOLDIER: Square Enix Master Arms

definitely worth something! - Image 1

If you understood the SOLDIER reference, then you have a pretty good idea what this’ll be about. It seems Square Enix is now offering pre-orders for replica weapons from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.

There are currently four of these toys up for pre-order under the “Master Arms” line of collectibles, based off characters from FFVII and VIII, as well as one weapon from Kingdom Hearts. These are Vincent Valentine’s Cerberus pistol, Squall Leonheart and Seifer Almasy’s gunblades, and Sora’s basic keyblade.

Of course, these babies aren’t going to be anywhere near life-sized. Here are the specs of these four weapons:

  • Cerberus (15cm length)
  • Keyblade (18cm length)
  • Squall’s Gunblade (23cm length)
  • Seifer’s Gunblade (26cm length)

They’re currently priced at Â¥ 3800 (a little over 30 bucks), so they aren’t exactly cheap, but game otaku everywhere would probably love to have a piece of the action. That being said, we’re still saving up enough metal to make our own version of Cloud’s First Tsurugi, so we’ll pass on this for now.
