Two hot Armored Core 4 videos from TGS 2006

Armored Core 4

PS3 TGSHere’s something that can give mecha combat fans reason to save up money for the PS3. The name of the game is Armored Core 4.

Yes, we know, we’ve already shown you screenshots, so what we have for your viewing are two Armored Core 4 videos from TGS 2006. One is the official TGS 2006 Debut Trailer. It’s mostly a rehash of the “God is Force” Trailer, but hey it’s good enough to feed your mecha lust. The other is a “show” gameplay video.

I particularly love the way the camera tracks your mech in the gameplay video. The zoom in/zoom out mechanism of the camera system just adds to the feel of the game.

Given what we have from the videos, the game looks amazing. However, I did notice a few slow-downs. It was when the mech got hit by a missile while the camera was zoomed in really close, perhaps it was just the smoke-particle effects slowing down or something. It could’ve been just my PC slowing the vid down. Anyway, with the camera at a reasonable distance, everything runs really smooth.

To see the embeds of the TGS 2006 videos, that’s about 2 and a half minutes of mecha goodness for you guys, just read the full article. Enjoy!
