Kirby 64 Crystal Shards Nintendo 64 - Image 1The U.S. virtual console is updated once again (check out the previous update) with two great games: Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards from Nintendo 64, and Psychosis, a classic TurboGrafx16 game. It’s certainly quite a haul, but if you’re not familiar with these two games then let us refresh your memory.

Nintendo and HAL Laboratory‘s Kirby 65: The Crystal Shards is Kirby’s first foray into 3D games, with the overly-cute pink blob traversing six worlds in search of crystal shards, about a hundred in all. To aid him in his quest, Kirby can copy not only one, but two abilities at the same time, lending a twist to his trademark ability. This game is available for 1000 Wii Points, and is Rated E for Everyone.

The other game, Naxat Soft’s Psychosis, is a classic side-scrolling shooter with a dark psychological twist. With your soul getting lost inside a demonic mind, the only way to get out of the psychological hell is to blast your way through five stages, also known as “causes.” Use power ups and satellites to break free of the grotesque danger threatening to swallow your soul. Psychosis is available for only 600 Wii Points, and is also rated E for Everyone.

Not a bad selection, eh? Do hot the Wii Shop Channel to grab the games!
