Virtual Console Europe gets 1080 Snowboarding and Riot Zone

Europe‘s Virtual Console service has just picked up two more titles. While this weekly update is certainly routine, the games being introduced are a different story, which includes the arrival of the N64‘s 1080 Snowboarding. More details are available in the full article.

It appears that Europe‘s got much to look forward for this week’s Wii Virtual Console update. We’re letting the gamers in that region know that they can now avail of Hudson Soft‘s Riot Zone and 1080 Snowboarding.

Developed originally for the TurboGrafx-16 system, Riot Zone is traditional side scrolling beat ’em up that’ll have us playing as either vigilantes Hawk or Tony on the mean streets of New York.

As for the second game, what sort of Nintendo 64 owner does not remember 1080 Snowboarding? The game was celebrated as one of the console’s top games, getting acclaim for its (at the time) cutting edge graphics and convincing physics effects. If you missed out on its release back in 1998, now might be a good time to pick it up.
