WiiSticks: Dual Wiimote gaming

Here’s a Wiimote-first alongside GlovePie, DarWiinRemote, and Wiicraft – a homebrew game. Barring the use of the Wii console, some dude’s managed to create a game for the PC making use of two Wiimotes and their motion sensors. As the creator describes his work:

I have been playing around with the Wii remote lately, and this is my first prototype combining Wii remote input + physics! It’s a virtual version of a toy, where you flick a stick back and forth between other sticks.

The guy also states he used the Ogre 3D rendering engine, the Newton Game Dynamics physics engine, and the cWiiMote library for Wii remote input. Unfortunately, the guys still hasn’t uploaded the game’s compiled binary, so it might be a while before we can try the game out for ourselves. Kudos to Walaber for the game, and we do hope he posts the binaries – the video looks fun.
