The Make-A-Wish foundation helped Ezra’s dreams come true. This child stricken with brain cancer had a simple dream that most of us are already living: to play World of Warcraft. Blizzard made his dream come true by providing him with a level 70 character and the best equips in the game. The kicker though is what they did in addition to this: they made him part of their development team for an entire day.

The gaming community has been very supportive of this move. The gamers have given out very heartwarming statements such as “Kudos Kid, I hope you get better. You’ll win this battle for sure.” Also, players would often bow or cheer whenever they came across his level 70 Tauren Hunter.

The father of Ezra, Micah Chatterton, was very pleased at the support his son is getting saying that “I do believe (the Blizzard visit) impacted the situation. It impacted his health and happiness. As many people as we can get behind him, we are so grateful for that.”

Ezra’s father was not the only one who was touched by this very generous move by Blizzard. People around the world have been affected by this. The impact of this event is so great that even a Grandmother of 67 years of age picked up the game to play with her kids. For the first time in her life, she played a video game.
