World of Warcraft’s Under Development update – things to watch out for

At long last, the World of Warcraft‘s Under Development page has been updated and we’re not just stuck staring at the Black Temple anymore.

Patch 2.1.0 is shaping up to be an uber major patch even with only the Black Temple and probably Illidan in the line up. Other additions are going to be made and it’s certainly something we can look forward to (though there isn’t any information as to what patch these are going to be included in). Anyway, let’s check them out.

Druid Epic Flight Form. A quest line would be followed, pretty much like the Warlock and Paladin epic mount quest series. The said quest line apparently leads the players to a “new boss in Sethekk Halls”. Whether Syth and Ikiss will like the newcomer is also a point in question.

Ethereum Prison. There isn’t any info on this one, but players would need a good reputation with the Consortium. Included in this addition are new quests, items and content both for solo and small groups (level 70).

Skettis. This is only accessible via flying mount high up in Terrokar. According to the page, Skettis will also get some additional items, 5 man instances, new content for the solo or group level capped players and a new type of flying mount.

Nether Drake. Whether this is the “new type of flying mount” is still unknown. But what we do know is that these magnificent mounts can be attained through a quest line (expect long, hard, and expensive).

Ogri’la. Barely any info on this either, but it also promises new content, quests, 5 man bosses, in addition to rares and epics (blue and green items). And a bombing run where players can use there own flying mounts (mounts and batteries not included).
