WoW: Do you need skills to play as Warlock?
There is a long tradition of class bashing in the MMORPG forums, and it is the same with World of Warcraft. There have been players who complain about a number of things, but one topic that seems to recur on a regular basis is the idea that playing as Warlock does not need any skill at all.
Quite a few players have come to the defense of the Warlock saying that it’s not hard to play a Warlock, but it takes real skill to play it well. When you think about it though, this is something that could be said as well among all the other classes.
Blizzard blue poster Saltherm responded to this thread in a timely manner: “Skill is available to all builds of all classes. We would never prejudice against a build by requiring that they no longer pursue this extremely useful trait.”
The forum moderator has voiced out something that quite a few players have been advocating for some time now. If a person keeps gets beaten by a certain class, analyze what allows them to win, stop whining, and just do something about it.
