Xbox 360 Marketplace Map
Major Nelson is giving major props to the folks over at Achieve360Points.com.
Apparently, the site has a new section called the A360P Live Marketplace Map. This allows you to see a list of all of the content currently on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Also, they have compiled some wild “Marketplace Statistics”. Currently, there are 56 downloads on Xbox Live Arcade costing 13,980 Microsoft Points ($174.75). There are 654 downloads for Xbox 360 Games costing 54,030 Microsoft Points ($675.38). 223 downloads for “everything else” cost 3,780 Microsoft Points ($47.25).
So, if you add up these numbers, there are 933 downloads available on the Xbox Live Marketplace and to buy all of them would cost 71,790 Microsoft Points ($897.38). Cool huh?
The Xbox Live Marketplace is one of the reasons a lot of people see Microsoft as a leader in the next-gen console wars. I can see why.
