Xbox Live refund email is legit sez Major Nelson
If you’ve received an email from Microsoft recently that says you’re getting a refund from Xbox Live then rejoice. Major Nelson has confirmed that the said emails (you can click on the pic below to check it out) are indeed legit.
Major Nelson states further that now would be “a good time to go over to Xbox.com to update your billing and contact information so that if you are due a credit, there wonÂ’t be any problems.” Not everyone who purchased points is entitled to a refund, though.
Please be aware that while this particular email is legit, others might try to get in on the action and scam the hell out of you. Always be suspicious of emails that ask for your personal info.
