Zack & Wiki - Image 1Capcom‘s Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is turning heads on an almost worldwide basis, but in Australia fans may have to wait a bit longer to be amazed by this adventure title. Nintendo has confirmed the delay of Zack & Wiki along with a few other noteworthy prospects. Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is now officially out of the running to make it in time for the big holiday rush. Instead, it’s slated for release in “early 2008” down under.

Capcom did not specify any reasons for the slide in launch schedules, but assured fans that this is a positive move with quality as the primary consideration. Nintendo Company Ltd. seconds that statement by saying that this is a “positive move” to avoid losing a great game in the flood of games that will launch in time for Christmas 2007.

Nintendo titles Battalion Wars 2, Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast, Endless Ocean, and expectedly, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn will also miss the holiday craze for the Nintendo Wii, but there are still plenty of other titles to look forward to.

Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure is an adventure of epic proportions featuring Zack the pirate and his magical monkey Wiki who can transform into a ball and turn monsters into usable items. It’s an interaction-based fun-fare that gamers of all ages should enjoy.
