Those who are closely following the PS3 console’s history may remember that an EB Games manager revealed that EB Games stopped buying new stocks of 20GB PS3s several months ago. Sony eventually stopped the production of the 20GB, stating that the overwhelming demand for the 60GB units caused them to cease the production of the PS3 units with the smallest storage capacity.
It’s also a bit strange that the 20GB models that are available right now on EB Games still have the US$ 449.99 price tag attached to it, which was its price before it was shot down by Sony.
