Although the MotoGP games have traditionally been released towards the end of the actual GP season, Capcom will be launching the next iteration — Monumental GamesMotoGP 09/10 — earlier. And by earlier, I mean next March.

“Historically MotoGP videogames have been released toward the end of the GP season, but with this latest addition to the series we wanted MotoGP and racing fans to have the most up to date content as soon as possible” said Capcom’s Michael Pattison,

MotoGP 09/10 will let players update the game with accurate content from the 2010 championship as the season unfolds at no extra cost. Added Pattison, “Never before will gamers have been able to play with current season content so early in the real world GP season.”

MotoGP 09/10 will introduce a new Career Mode where players can both compete in races and manage all aspects of their team. Gamers will be able to hire engineers, team managers and press officers, all of whom will have a real effect on their career as a racing pro.

Aside from the Career Mode, there will also be three other gameplay modes including a challenge-laden Arcade Mode and a Spectator Mode. The game will also feature online leaderboards.

MotoGP 09/10 will be released in March 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
