Cel-Shaded Zelda To Make A Return?

LinkIn an interview with Revolution Magazine (UK), Eiji Aonuma talked about Zelda once again. In case his name doesn’t ring a bell, he’s the guy overseeing the development process of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. So, if there’s some juicy info about the game, he’s probably the guy who’d spill it.

Unfortunately, he only talked about things we already know about the game. But it’s not a total loss as he made a remark about Link and cel-shading. Here’s what he had to say:

“Of course, I like Link in that shape[,] too, and I have no intention to stop producing cel-shaded Link…”

It’s not much, but it may just spark a little bit of controversy, especially as Zelda fans are divided between those who want a cel-shaded Link and those who want a more realistic Link.

We don’t mind going back to the cel-shaded Link, it’s part of the charm of the Zelda series. But then again, one would wonder if such graphic style would still be embraced by fans who are clamoring for more realistic visuals.
