DLDIrc DS Homebrew Patcher v0.1

Choose your driver! - Image 1Over at the GBA Dev forums, Psychowood has come up with a tool to install DLDI patches onto your games. According to Psychowood, this new tool is a bit different as it uses Chism’s dlditool v1.21 to patch roms by right clicking it. As he himself mentions of the process, “Two clicks, that’s all.”

Psychowood also mentions that you can install multiple DLDI patch drivers to fit your needs, as you don’t have to worry about compatibility issues. In any case, the readme, which can be accessed after installing the app at least once, doesn’t add a lot more information, but you can check with the developer himself through the source link below.

Since he’s counting the number of downloads for the application (perhaps to see if he’ll keep on updating it, you never know), we’ve opted to bow out of hosting the file here. You can view the changelog below, however, and if you’re interested in waiting for a newer version to come up, then we’ll let you know as well.

v0.1 Changelog:

  • First public version, tested more or less deeply on Windows XP; should work as well on Windows 2000 and NT
  • It is not tested, and probably not working, on Win98 and WinMe.
