Microsoft: we have something better than Killzone 2
PlayStation 3 faithfuls look to Killzone 2 as the Xbox killer. And the game is indeed, truly awesome. Even Microsoft officially congratulated Sony and Guerrilla Games for their work. But, surprise, surprise, Microsoft says they have something up their sleeve, something even better than Killzone 2.
Did you hear that? It sounded like a resounding b*tchslap.

PlayStation 3 faithfuls look to Killzone 2 as the Xbox killer. And the game is indeed, truly awesome. Even Microsoft officially congratulated Sony and Guerrilla Games for their work. But, surprise, surprise, Microsoft says they have something up their sleeve, something even better than Killzone 2. Says an MS rep:
We congratulate Sony and Guerrilla Games for their efforts with Killzone 2, however this is only the beginning of a new wave. The current technology employed for certain unannounced Xbox 360 exclusives far surpasses what gamers have seen in any game so far.
Gears of War was the beginning of this technological benchmark when released on the 360 and this lineage will be carried forward in the following months with exclusives that shall stand for a new definition of gaming experience and provide stiff competition for the opposition.
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a message of congratulations phrased as a b*tchslap. Can Microsoft really pull it off, or are they all talk? I’m curious to see how they’ll do it, considering the limitations the Xbox 360 has against the PlayStation 3. We’ll likely find out soon.
