Unreal Tournament III to get future UI fixes
Don’t completely agree with the way Epic Games built the user interface (UI) for Unreal Tournament III (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC)? Don’t worry – you’re not the only who’s having these issues, and the company’s apparently beginning to take heed. Their moderator over at the official UT3 forums has sent out a statement regarding this matter, which you can read over in the full article among other details.
Enjoying your demo for the PC port of Epic Games‘ Unreal Tournament III? While the general outlook for the game has been positive lately, word is that players are having issues with UT3‘s User Interface. The problem was previously elaborated by Taleweaver over at Epic’s official forums.
As the thread poster stated, the UI’s general look made it feel like it was more meant for a console system, and that there was plenty of space that could have been used to add more options for the players. And from the looks of it, Epic’s been listening. WarTourist, moderator for the official UT3 forums, stated that the company was indeed working on a future fix:
We’re aware that the UI isn’t perfect. We’re working on numerous improvements and additions to the user interface that will be made available in future updates to UT3.
No word has been stated whether this fix will just be for UT3’s PC port, of if similar fixes are being readied for the game’s upcoming PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases. We’ll let you know if any related news turns up.
