WoW Updates: Fan Art, New Wallpaper and Best Comic
It’s no secret to a lot of MMO players that WoW has a strong hold of the leadership in multiplayers. As a matter of fact, recent reports reveal that Blizzard‘s World of Warcraft has 50% of overall MMO gaming market; meaning at least half of those who enjoy these games are hooked to WoW.
You can’t blame both Blizzard, for dominating the market, and the MMO gamers, for being so loyal to WoW, though. Rich gameplay, unique features, and Blizzard’s vigilant efforts in making sure every little detail is looked into are bound to put WoW on top for at least a few more years. Add to that the most necessary weapon Blizzard has that none of the current MMOs can match – no, it’s not swords, armors, potions or any of that stuff; it’s, well, more players.
The best asset of every MMO is the game’s community. It doesn’t matter if the game has the best look/gameplay, if it has a few players, its community will be small, making it unappealing to most gamers. World of Warcraft , having more than six million players, definitely has the biggest number of people populating its community. That in turn will only entice more players to join, padding the numbers even more. Why I am so bent up on emphasizing “community” you might ask? Well, its because of these:
